Virginia adds further natural sweetness and brighter tobacco notes, creating a balanced base for the blend's aromatic topping.

A Classic Black Cherry Aromatic

Gawith Hoggarth American BC Pipe Tobacco is distinguished by the combination of a mellow Cavendish-based tobacco mixture and a pronounced black cherry flavour. Black Cavendish provides a smooth, sweet foundation, while Burley and Virginia contribute additional tobacco character and balance.

The black cherry topping introduces ripe fruit sweetness alongside subtle dark-fruit and almond-like notes, giving the blend considerably more aromatic character than an unflavoured Cavendish or Virginia mixture. Its coarse, loose presentation creates the varied mixture of golden brown, chestnut and dark tobacco strands associated with American BC.

Produced by Gawith Hoggarth in Kendal and supplied as loose pipe tobacco, American BC is a distinctive black cherry aromatic pipe tobacco combining traditional British tobacco production with an American-style aromatic profile.
