American CV Blend

Gawith Hoggarth American C & V Blend Loose Pipe Tobacco is a traditional American-style aromatic mixture combining Cavendish and Burley tobaccos with a sweet, mellow topping. Produced by Gawith Hoggarth in Kendal, this loose pipe tobacco is blended to offer a smooth aromatic character while retaining the underlying qualities of its Cavendish and Burley leaf.

The foundation of Gawith Hoggarth American C & V Blend is its combination of Cavendish and Burley tobaccos. Cavendish contributes a softer and naturally sweeter character to the mixture, while Burley provides additional body, depth and the nutty qualities traditionally associated with the leaf.

A carefully applied sweet aromatic topping complements the tobacco base, giving American C & V its mellow character. Rather than relying upon a particularly strong or singular flavour, the topping works alongside the Cavendish and Burley to create a rounded American-style aromatic mixture.

A Sweet & Mellow American-Style Aromatic

Gawith Hoggarth American C & V Pipe Tobacco is distinguished by its straightforward combination of Cavendish and Burley. The Cavendish provides the softer and sweeter foundation of the mixture, while Burley adds greater tobacco depth and a complementary nutty character.

The blend is enhanced with a sweet, mellow aromatic topping, creating a rounded flavour and aroma without completely obscuring the natural character of the underlying tobacco. This combination gives American C & V its traditional American-style aromatic identity.

Supplied as loose pipe tobacco, Gawith Hoggarth American C & V provides a convenient alternative to flakes and plugs, with no extensive preparation required before filling the pipe.

Produced in Kendal by one of Britain's historic tobacco manufacturers, Gawith Hoggarth American C & V Blend combines Cavendish, Burley and a mellow aromatic topping to create a distinctive loose aromatic pipe tobacco within the Gawith Hoggarth American Blend range.
