American Kentucky N Blend

Gawith Hoggarth American Kentucky Blend Loose Pipe Tobacco, also known as American Kentucky ‘N’ Blend or Kentucky Nougat, is a rich aromatic mixture combining dark Black Cavendish with Virginia and Burley tobaccos. Finished with a creamy combination of toffee, cocoa and toasted hazelnut, this distinctive Kendal-made tobacco offers a mellow, sweet and nutty aromatic profile.

The foundation of Gawith Hoggarth American Kentucky Blend is predominantly smooth Black Cavendish, accompanied by selected Virginia and Burley tobaccos. Black Cavendish provides a soft, dark and naturally sweet base, while Virginia contributes brighter tobacco sweetness. Burley adds further body and a complementary earthy and nutty character.

What particularly distinguishes American Kentucky is its nougat-inspired aromatic topping. Creamy toffee sweetness is complemented by cocoa and toasted hazelnut, creating a rich dessert-style aroma while allowing elements of the underlying tobacco mixture to remain present.

A Creamy Kentucky Nougat Aromatic

Gawith Hoggarth American Kentucky Pipe Tobacco is distinguished by its combination of a mellow Black Cavendish tobacco base and a rich nougat-style aromatic flavouring. Black Cavendish provides much of the mixture's smooth sweetness, while Virginia and Burley introduce additional natural tobacco character and balance.

The aromatic profile centres on creamy toffee, cocoa and toasted hazelnut, producing the confectionery-inspired character traditionally associated with the Kentucky Nougat name. The natural nuttiness of the Burley complements the hazelnut and cocoa notes, while Virginia adds a lighter sweetness alongside the darker Cavendish.

Presented as loose ready-rubbed pipe tobacco, American Kentucky requires little preparation and has a varied appearance combining golden-brown tobacco with darker strands of Black Cavendish.

Produced in Kendal by Gawith Hoggarth, American Kentucky ‘N’ Blend is a distinctive nougat-flavoured aromatic pipe tobacco. Its combination of Black Cavendish, Virginia, Burley, creamy toffee, cocoa and toasted hazelnut gives Gawith Hoggarth American Kentucky a clear identity within the company's American aromatic range.
