Killarney

Peterson Killarney 50g Pipe Tobacco is a sweet aromatic mixture combining selected Virginia, Burley, Maryland and Black Cavendish tobaccos with a rich cream caramel flavour. Formerly known as Peterson Sweet Killarney, this distinctive blend is finished with hand-rubbed Virginia flake, creating a varied texture and a warm, sweet aromatic character.

The foundation of Peterson Killarney Pipe Tobacco brings together several complementary tobacco varieties. Virginia contributes natural sweetness and brighter tobacco notes, while Burley and Maryland add body and depth. Black Cavendish provides a softer, darker and naturally complementary base for the blend's distinctive aromatic topping.

What defines Killarney is its cream caramel flavouring, which introduces a rich sweetness with noticeable caramel and toffee-like characteristics. This aromatic profile is layered over the underlying tobacco rather than forming the entire character of the mixture, allowing the Virginia and Black Cavendish in particular to remain an important part of the blend.

A Cream Caramel Aromatic from Peterson

Peterson Killarney Pipe Tobacco is distinguished by its combination of aromatic tobacco and hand-rubbed Virginia flake. The loose ribbon and ready-rubbed mixture is interspersed with pieces of Virginia flake, creating a varied cut that brings together the characteristics of several different tobaccos.

The blend's defining cream caramel flavour provides a rich aromatic sweetness with a distinctly toffee-like quality. Black Cavendish works particularly well alongside this flavouring, while the Virginia leaf provides natural tobacco sweetness and the Burley and Maryland contribute additional depth to the mixture.

Previously sold as Peterson Sweet Killarney, the blend is now commonly marketed simply as Peterson Killarney. Including both names is particularly useful when identifying this tobacco, as the former Sweet Killarney name remains widely associated with the blend.

Presented in a traditional 50g pipe tobacco tin, Peterson Killarney is a distinctive caramel aromatic pipe tobacco combining Virginia, Burley, Maryland and Black Cavendish with hand-rubbed Virginia flake. Its cream caramel flavour and varied ready-rubbed presentation give Peterson Killarney 50g an immediately recognisable identity within the Peterson pipe tobacco range.
