Sunset Breeze

Peterson Sunset Breeze 50g Pipe Tobacco, now known as Peterson Yellow Mixture, is a mild aromatic blend combining selected Virginia, Burley and Black Cavendish tobaccos with a distinctive Amaretto flavouring. Presented in a traditional 50g tin, Sunset Breeze is characterised by its combination of naturally sweet tobacco, nutty Burley and a warm almond-inspired aromatic profile.

The foundation of Peterson Sunset Breeze Pipe Tobacco brings together three classic tobacco varieties. Virginia contributes natural sweetness and brighter tobacco notes, while Burley adds body and its characteristic nutty qualities. Black Cavendish provides a softer, darker sweetness that complements the blend's aromatic casing.

What particularly distinguishes Sunset Breeze is its Amaretto flavouring. The sweet almond character of Amaretto works alongside the natural nuttiness of Burley and sweetness of Virginia and Black Cavendish, creating the recognisable aromatic profile associated with this long-established Peterson blend.

A Classic Amaretto Aromatic from Peterson

Peterson Sunset Breeze Pipe Tobacco is distinguished by the combination of Virginia, Burley and Black Cavendish with a pronounced Amaretto aroma. Rather than relying on fruit or vanilla as its principal flavouring, the blend uses the sweet, almond-like character associated with Amaretto to complement the natural qualities of the tobacco.

Virginia and Black Cavendish provide much of the blend's sweetness, while Burley introduces a naturally nutty character that works particularly well alongside the Amaretto flavouring. The tobacco is presented in a loose ribbon and ready-rubbed cut, with lighter golden and brown tobaccos contrasting against darker strands of Black Cavendish.

Now marketed as Peterson Yellow Mixture, the tobacco retains the recipe and flavour profile previously sold under the Sunset Breeze name. Including both names is particularly useful for identifying the blend, as Peterson Sunset Breeze remains widely recognised and continues to appear in searches and existing tobacco collections.

Presented in a 50g pipe tobacco tin, Peterson Sunset Breeze / Yellow Mixture is a distinctive Amaretto aromatic pipe tobacco. Its combination of Virginia, Burley, Black Cavendish and Amaretto flavouring gives this mild Peterson blend its characteristic sweet and nutty aromatic identity.
